A baby girl in Gold Coast, Queensland, was found dead on the beach. Her parents, familiar to the police, are now in custody.
Queensland emergency services arrived at View Pacific Holiday Apartments at about 00:30 on Monday, the Daily Mail reported. Ordinary people found an unresponsive baby in (Staghorn Avenue), (Surfers Paradise) Luk Horn Avenue, View Pacific Holiday Apartments.
Emergency workers struggled to save the nine-month-old girl, but failed to save her life. The baby girl was pronounced dead on the spot, and police said the cause of her death was "unusual".
Police are investigating a baby girl who was said to have been in the water for some time before she was found on the beach.
Detective Superintendent Hogan (Marc Hogan) said it was a very tragic incident, with no visible injuries on the baby`s body, but the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.
Police have found the 23-year-old mother and 46-year-old father of the baby girl in (Broadbeach), Kwantan, and have yet to file charges.
The baby girl was found less than 1 km from thousands of student revelry sites, but police have confirmed that her death had nothing to do with the graduates.
