Under a new support program designed to promote local communities, nursing workers can immediately save $10, 000 by buying land from Villawood Properties, Victoria.
Under the initiative, 10 percent of the company`s new land releases will be reserved for nursing workers-including nurses, teachers, police, firefighters, childcare and elderly care workers.
But applicants need to work within 10 kilometers of their chosen Villawood community to qualify for the offer, which will be extended to Melbourne after the successful trial of Geelong`s Armstrong Creek.
Raleigh Costolo (Rory Costelloe), executive director of Villawood Properties, said paramedics were "the backbone of our community."
"We need them. They need to be able to live where they work. This is for this purpose. " He said。
The paramedics support program will begin for an initial period of six months.
Villawood Properties currently has communities in places such as Wollert,Mickleham,Sunbury,Truganina,Clyde,Clyde North.
