According to the Daily Mail, nearly half of Australians prefer to trade basic necessities in order to be able to use the mobile phone network.

It is reported that mobile phone network operator Amaysim conducted a survey of mobile phone usage habits of 1000 Australians. It turns out that Australians rely heavily on mobile phones to contact and find sense of security.

According to the survey, 40 percent of people pay more in terms of mobile traffic than they pay for the most basic tap water in their lives. Even more worrisome, 65% of Australians can`t stand two hours in a row.

Australia is the fourth largest mobile phone user in the world. 84% of people own a mobile phone. Among them, many Australians would rather compromise or sacrifice in real life in order to ensure that online life can proceed normally.

Thirty-nine percent said they had been late for work to wait for the phone to fill up. More than half said they would rather not go to the gym if they were 100% normal.

In addition, more than one in three Australians chose to delay overseas travel in order to save enough money to buy a new phone. Nearly 1 / 3 admitted that they would not go without a free Wi-Fi, at the dating site.

According to Dr. Miguel (Dr Brendan Meagher) `s study, these situations can be attributed to the use of (problematic mobile phone use,PMPU on question phones, and the situation among Australians is becoming more and more serious. It will be one of the biggest challenges of behavioral addiction in the 21st century. There is growing concern that technological development will have a negative impact on users` mental health.

Experts also point out that while technology development aims to make people`s lives more convenient, it also has an impact on people`s multitasking ability. For example, most people can`t watch social media while watching meetings.
