An Indian man was accused of deceiving a 14-year-old girl into entering his company in a free fortune-telling manner, and then sexual invasion her.
Police on court Tuesday accused the man of seducing the girl in southwestern Sydney over the weekend.
Police from the National Crime Command`s child abuse and sexual crime team began investigating the traumatic incident on Sunday after receiving a report from an unidentified man, sexual invasion, earlier in the day.
With the help of an interpreter, investigators spoke to a 31-year-old man at a shop in Macquarie Street before executing a crime scene search warrant.
At about 6 p.m. Monday, Australian federal police informed police that the man was trying to board a plane bound for Singapore at Sydney International Airport.
The man was then taken to the police station in Mascot by police officer arrest, where he was charged with two counts of intentional sexual invasion children under the age of 16 and three counts of serious sexual invasion children under the age of 16.
The man was denied the appearance of bail on Tuesday.
The investigation continues.
