A snake catcher in (Sunshine Coast), Sunshine Coast, captures a large carpet python devouring a duck, the Daily Mail reported.
Mackenzie (Stuart McKenzie) of the Sunshine Coast Snakecatcher (Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers) is reported to have shared photo on the social platform fb, showing a python devouring a duck. Netizens left hundreds of comments.
Mackenzie said he received help from a resident of the Kalendra (Caloundra) family, where he saw the python having lunch. He points out that pythons usually entangle their prey and stifle it.
McKenzie said it was one of the largest python he had ever seen, about 3 meters long. The duck that became prey had a fully developed cat size, but it was easily swallowed by the python.
Mackenzie says it is not uncommon for snakes to devour duck-size prey. Some dogs and cats are also in danger of being eaten by snakes. In spring, snakes break into chicken coops almost every week looking for food.
Many netizens feel sorry to see the duck eaten by a snake.
