The 47-year-old Kieth Edwards, a 47-year-old child of seven, now lives on a pension in Davoren Park, north of Adelaide, with a disability.

At about 00:30 on Tuesday (June 12), he was asleep on the sofa when a couple of thugs suddenly broke into his house. Mr. Edwards recalled that he woke up from sleep and found two men in his house, one with a metal stick in his hand.

"he threatened to hit me with a stick and mentioned a motorbike that didn`t exist. I told him there was nothing in the house, and he beat me up. "

Despite Edwards`s attempts to defend himself, the two gangsters were so powerful that he could not resist and was beaten hard.

One of Edwards`s daughters said the assailant hit him on the head with a guitar, beat him with a cooking pot, and then beat him with a metal stick. The scene was so violent that the wall was covered with blood.

Edwards suffered multiple head and face injuries, with bruises and bleeding wounds everywhere. He has been treated in Lyell McEwin Hospital and has been discharged from the hospital on Tuesday morning.

The victim said the attacker believed there was a motorcycle in his yard and asked him to hand over the car. "I tried to tell them,`I don`t know anything, `and they didn`t listen to me."

The police then surveyed the scene and found a metal pole, suspected to be the murder weapon.

The investigation continues, and they believe the suspect and victim knew each other. The incident was not a random attack, but a targeted attack.
