A man is in critical condition after a gas explosion broke out at a mall in (Ashfield), Sydney`s Chinese district, where he was burned throughout his body, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.
An emergency service arrived around 5:00 this afternoon after an emergency service received reports of a man being seriously injured in a gas explosion at (Ashfield Mall), a shopping mall in (Liverpool Road), Liverpool Road.
Police said they learned of an explosion in a machine at the scene, a man`s face, hands and feet were burned.
The injured man, who refused to write a letter to his thirties, has been taken to hospital.
New state fire rescue agency (Fire and Rescue NSW) has taken precautions to evacuate people from the mall.
Baohuo local police district (Burwood Police Area Command) police officers are currently investigating the accident.
