Four armed men in Sydney violently looted a tobacco shop and were arrested by police who arrived after being locked up for their own mistakes.

According to the Daily Telegraph, at about 06:45 on September 4, 2016, four men armed with knives rushed into the (Cooper Road) tobacco shop in (Yagoona) Cooper Road, southwest of Sydney, for robbery. Hit and kick the clerk said (Rahim Saied). The four robbers soon realized that they had made a huge mistake by closing the store door when they entered the door. The shop door was automatically locked when the clerk said cleverly triggered a threat alarm during his ruthless assault. At the same time, the police received a notice.

The four robbers were trapped in panic and continued to threaten to hand over the key to the store, which said the doors could not be opened when the alarm was closed. Aware of the hopelessness, the robbers began to crack down on the tobacco shop and gave up resistance after the police arrived.

It is reported that three robbers, (Osman El Sayah), Idaye (Ahmed Idaayen) and Mansale (Mohamed Mansaray), were all 18 years old at the time of the crime. Three persons pleaded guilty to gang robbery. He was sentenced to two years and four months in jail by the New State District Court in October and 10 months without bail.

The prosecutor said the verdict was too light and appealed. Yesterday, the New State Criminal Appeals Court (NSW Court of Criminal Appeal) applied for an appeal to extend the sentences of Saye, Idaye and Mansale to three years without parole for a period of one year and 10 months.

After the appeal sentence, the surveillance screen of the tobacco shop at the time of the crime can be published to the public.
