Under ISIS, women must be protected by their husbands. Therefore, in order to protect himself, Mittal married again. Her second husband, Sahib (Faisal Sahib), came from Australia and had a child. Later, Sahib died in an air strike by coalition forces.

Mittal lost his support again and lived in a world of violence with his children. `She wasn`t afraid of bomb, she wasn`t afraid of planes, she was afraid of people around her, `she said in an interview.

Mittal did not want the children to grow up in this environment, risking their lives and taking their two children out of Syria. Now Mittal and her two children are safe, begging for Australian citizen status. (he Rong)
