An eyewitness said the sandbag mouse looked as if its heart had been dug out.

Another witness was convinced that the animal had been deliberately cut because its wound was neat.

Others believe that from the point of view of the injury of the sandbag mouse, it is more sinister than car accident.

(Gosford) councillor Tessie (Liesl Tesch), who had just arrived on the beach for a morning swim, found a lot of people around a sandbag mouse. "it looked like someone cut it open for dog meat," she said. But the truth seems even more puzzling. "

It is reported that the speed limit on the road section of the sandbag mouse is 40 kilometers per hour. The community is an hour and a half drive from Sydney. It has always been a quiet, rich family-friendly seaside community between the beach and the national park.
