The decision was strongly opposed by students and parents after the headmaster of a prestigious school in Melbourne was sacked for cutting his hair, the Australian News Network reported.

Brown (Rohan Brown), former vice-principal of Melbourne`s Trinity Grammar School (Trinity Grammar School), has worked at the school for nearly 30 years. Brown was photographed cutting a boy`s hair the day before the school`s photo-taking day in order to keep the length of the student`s hair up to the school`s photo-taking requirements. As a result, he was forced to leave the job.

Lyle (Roderick Lyle), chairman of the school board, told parents that Brown had left the school. He said in a statement that Brown`s approach to discipline was not in line with the expectations of today`s community, so he was no longer a school leader.

However, the school decision was strongly opposed by students and parents. Some parents even threatened to get their children out of the school.

On Friday night, more than 800 people attended a special meeting calling on the school to bring Brown back to work.

Family members of the students who had their hair cut were also involved. `it `s not what they want, `she said. They did not complain or try to get Brown out of school. But the boy who had his hair cut was bullied because of it and didn`t want to stay at school.

At the same time, some people on the Internet launched related petition, with more than 3000 signatures.

Pro-Brown commentators have even warned that the school could fall apart without him.

There were also large-scale protests by students who walked out of the classroom during lunchtime and chanted slogans for Brown`s return.

On the matter, Brown said he also wanted to return to school, and he also expressed concern for the students.

Brown said he had worked at the school for nearly 30 years and had contributed everything he could to the school, and he hoped to continue. He loved the school very much, but sincerely hoped that the students would not be affected by it and should not distract from it.
