This morning, the search for the missing 14-year-old boy continued at Maroubra Beach in eastern Sydney, and the boy`s mother was on the brink of collapse.

This morning, the search for the missing 14-year-old boy continued at Maroubra Beach in eastern Sydney, and the boy`s mother was on the brink of collapse.

Emergency rescue teams received reports Tuesday night that two teenagers were in danger at sea.

Today, the search entered the next day, the authorities are carrying out a carpet search on the south side of the beach. The boy`s mother came to the beach in an ambulance and sobbed.

During the festival, there were several drowning incidents in Xinzhou, with six men and one little girl drowning in the sea, in the river or in the backyard swimming pool.

Inspector Chris Whalley said the missing boy was swimming with his cousin, who was lucky to be pulled back from the waves by a 26-year-old stranger.

"the passer-by`s actions are commendable."

"it`s a great thing to go into the waves and save people. It`s very admirable."

Matthew Evans of (Surf Life Saving Sydney), the New Island Surfing Lifetime Service, says rescue efforts are concentrated on the south coast.

"when it comes to the state of the sea south of Maroubra today, the waves are about 3, 4 feet high, and there are several torrential currents in the south sea, so it`s not very good for search and rescue."

"We don`t recommend going to the south sea of Maroubra now, because it`s not a good time to swim."

Police said surfers and rescue teams were working on Tuesday night, but had to stop searching because of low visibility and waves.
