Residents of Charter Towers, northern Queensland, have suffered from the spread of fox bats for many years.
Recently, a boy was dropped from the sky by the fox bat scratched neck! Anger broke out among the local residents.
Polinelli, a Charter Towers12-year-old boy, was reportedly afraid of the flying local fox bats.
Unexpectedly, last year, on boxing day, Polinelli and friends were playing in Apex Park when a fox bat fell from a tree and hit him.
The neck was scratched, so nine injections were required to avoid infection with the Australian bat rabies virus.
On Thursday, Polinelli will receive a final injection.
This is not the first time such an event has occurred in Charter Towers.
It is estimated that the number of local bats is 20 times that of the population.
Residents, Gott said, local parks and swimming pools are affected by bats, residents dare not go out.
