In the past four months, the number of businesses and owners in prosecute`s new state of government has almost doubled as a result of the extension of the Sydney light rail project.

The Sydney light rail project, originally scheduled for completion in 2019, is now expected to be extended to May 2020, according to Radio 7. Last August, about 60 businesses along the Sydney light rail project filed a class action suit against (Transport for NSW), the new state transportation bureau, arguing that construction of the light rail project would be adversely affected. At present, class action merchants and owners have increased to 110.

Class action claims that government is ill-planned, demanding A $400m in damages. Lawer Mitri (Rick Mitry) said plaintiff suffered severe economic and psychological injuries.

A spokesman for the new state transportation bureau said: "the new state transportation bureau denies the charges brought in this class action and is pleading against the suit."

It is understood that the new state government has provided more than A $ one hundred and sixteen million nine hundred and ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine in compensation through the small Business Assistance Program to 115 businesses affected by light rail construction.
