In the historic mining town of Coolgardie, two Chinese Australian nationals and a Chinese citizen were killed by Western Australian police arrest at noon on Tuesday, according to (ABC), an Australian broadcaster. Police found A $2 million in cash at the back of their car, believed to have been stolen from a crime. The three were driving from Perth to the east, but did not know their exact destination.

The case was opened Wednesday at Karguri (Kalgoorlie) referee court, where 33-year-old Chinese citizen Wing Leung Law, accompanied by a Cantonese interpreter, appeared before referee court. The other two suspects are 24-year-old Australian Chinese Xu Wanting (Wanting Xu, and 21-year-old Shing Hung Ho, both speak English.

They are accused of illegal possession of proceeds of crime. The three have neither filed any claims nor applied for bail. Judge Sandra De Maio said the case had been referred to Perth court. The three men continued to be held after the trial.

On January 3, the trio will appear again at court in Perth, when law aides lawer Jay Townsend will appear in court to defend them.

This is the second time a large amount of cash has been seized by Western Australian police this year.
