Analysis of overseas views by realestate.com.au shows that the most desirable area for overseas real estate buyers to buy property in Australia is Manly. in Sydney`s North Beach.
The site surveyed the number of hits generated outside Australia, and Manly had the highest number of searches in the six months to January 31 this year. This was followed by 31949 South Yarra (views in the inner city of Melbourne and 29494 Surfers Paradise (views in southeastern Queensland).
This is not the first time Manly has beaten Bondi., a famous competitor south of the Harbour Bridge, in popularity.
Just last week, TripAdvisor, a global travel website, awarded the 2018 tourist Choice Award (2018 Travellers` Choice Awards) named Manly Australia`s best beach (ranked 16th globally).
But while Sydney`s Manly is the most popular area for potential overseas property buyers, five of the top 10 districts are in Victoria.
