(Gavin Haines) Gavin Haines, who lives in northern Adelaide, came home from work at around 12:30 today and was horribly assaulted by gunmen at his home, 9 NEWS reported.
According to Haines` partner, four men were parked on Montague Road in front of his home (in Pooraka), and three of them got out of the car and shouted to him, "Gavin, are you Gavin?"
Haines walked towards them, and the attacker jumped out of the car and approached quickly, snatching his cell phone and key to the door and stabbing him in the back and shoulder.
But the tragedy did not stop, Haines tried to escape, the gangster pursued.
Haines did not run home because the gangsters followed him. He ran along the road and the gangster threw a wrench and hit him.
After that, the gangster drove away.
Haines returned home with injuries and was randomly taken to Lyell McEwin Hospital where he was undergoing surgery.
Police said the attack was no accident, but Haines said he did not know the man who attacked him.
