On the 9th, (Byron Bay) held its first celestial beach competition in Byron Bay, New York. The events included the big colored egg relay race, the (egg and spoon races), bagging race, and the double three-legged race.

Birch (Cheryl Bridge), the celestial beach organizer, said it was an important event in the history of heavybodies. "Celestial Beach competitions give everyone the opportunity to get together every year," she said. "We are full of laughter and fun, and we can meet more heavenly people and friends."

In addition to entertainment, (Australian Naturist Federation), the Australian heavenly alliance, said the event also provided an opportunity to discuss community issues. In 1988, the local council announced that the beach in Byron Bay, (Belongil), to Taiagra (Tyagarah), would be classified as a "no-wear beach area." But local residents have called for the rule to be lifted after a number of sexual assaults in the region in recent days.

Another heavenly figure, Penn (Wayne Penn), proposes to provide whistles to people on the beach to increase security. If people feel dangerous, they can whistle. People nearby would whistle when they heard the whistle, which would frighten the perpetrator.

In addition, the Australian Celestial Alliance provides its members with yellow flags to mark designated safe areas on beaches.

Celestial Beach Competition has been moved to Byron Bay since Queensland police suppressed celestial beach guests at (Alexandria Bay) in (Noosa) Alexandria Bay, Nusa, in 2016, said Serrov (Greg Serow), president of the Australian Celestial Alliance. So far, Byron Bay has not been arrested.
