TarraWarra Museum of Art is located in the eastern outskirts of Yarra Glen, a small town within the (Yarra Valley) valley of Victoria's famous wine-producing area, about 5 kilometers by car from (Healesville), the core town of the valley, and about 60 kilometers from downtown Melbourne, Victoria's capital.
TarraWarra Museum of Art adjacent to Tarawala Manor (TarraWarra Estate), was founded in 1993 by philanthropists Eva Beson (Eva Besen) and Mark Beson (Marc Besen) as Australia's first privately financed public art museum. The exhibits are selected from their private collections.
