San Remo

Introduction of San Remo

San Remo is a coastal town west of (Anderson Peninsula) on the (Gippsland region), Anderson Peninsula in Gipsland, southern Victoria, about 125km from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria.

San Remo is part of the route to the famed Phillip Island, also known as Penguin Island, where the only bridge between Phillip Island and Mainland, Virginia, is across the bridge from Newhaven, a small town on Phillip Island.

Known for a group of pelicans living here(also known as pelican, a large water bird known for its giant mouth), local fishermen visit the town at noon at 12:00o'clock (San Remo Jetty)to provide food for about half an hour for tourists to visit.
