Ballina

Introduction of Ballina

Ballina is a coastal city in northeast New South Wales, at the entrance of (Richmond River) on the Richmond River, at the intersection of the Brookner Highway (Bruxner Hyw,B60) and the Pacific Highway (Pacific Hwy,A1). It is about 35 kilometers by car from (Byron Bay), the famous New South Wales resort town, and has a permanent population of about 26000 people (including the Lennox Head area in the north).

Ballina is a service center for large fishing fleet bases and nearby dairy, sugar cane and tropical fruit producing areas, rich in seafood, while Ballina's tourism is also well developed, with 32 km of white sand beaches and clear waterways and rivers. It is a quiet resort. The lobster, located at the entrance to Bunnings in downtown Ballina, is one of the most famous buildings in Ballina.
