Chinese female tourists overtook and crashed into CMB in violation of the rules, the public called for strict control of international drivers

Tourists were driving rented vehicles and nearly snatched dozens of passengers from another car. The crash sparked calls for the government to amend its laws to strengthen regulation of international drivers.

On Tuesday, the accident occurred on Indian Ocean Drive (Indian Ocean Avenue in the town of Nilgen, north of Perth. A 26-year-old Chinese tourist drove a rented car, her parents in the back seat, trying to reverse overtake a camping RV, ran into a front-to-face bus full of passengers.

Eleven people inside the CMB miraculously dodged the catastrophe, and car-rental tourists suffered only minor injuries. "We are shocked by the extent of the damage," said Adam Barnard, owner of the bus company.
