Seven African thugs allegedly used a gun to threat a man in Melbourne's next dramatic carjacking in broad daylight and then fled in his car.
At about 02:40 on Friday, the group allegedly accosted the victim as he sat in his Horton (Holden) Commodore car in a parking lot in the central shopping district of Packenham.
A spokesman for the state police said one of the men pulled out a gun and asked the victim to get out of the car.
After the man got out of the car, one of the alleged violators boarded the car and drove it away, but abandoned it on Gallery Way five minutes later.

The accused criminal is still at large.
