The Chinese settled in Australia for a year and told you in person why Sydney was chosen over Melbourne?

When many people get PR in Australia, they struggle to choose which city to settle in. And for me, it doesn't seem to be a big problem.

First of all, there is an objective reason for the visa.

When I applied for skilled immigrants, I applied for a New South Wales nominating career, which required me to live in New South Wales for two years. Sydney is the capital city of New South Wales.

Therefore, there is often a phobia of choice is to get 189 of the great god, for me can only take 190 of the monster, but to avoid the worry of choice.

Although many friends have told me that the so-called two-year residence conditions are only morally binding, even if the state government does not have the right to cancel your visa even if it is disobedient to emigrate to another state after obtaining a visa. In New South Wales, in particular, there are many examples that state government never cares where you live when you land.

I am, however, a person who likes to take moral constraints seriously, especially if they can be used as an excuse not to follow the flow of their minds.

The second reason is to find a job.

Generally speaking of Australia, the first city to think of would be Sydney, a world-famous cosmopolitan city. Sydney is indeed Australia's largest city, with the largest economy and the largest number of jobs.

In fiscal year 2015-2016, Sydney's GDP accounted for 24 percent of the country, while Melbourne, the second-largest, accounted for 18 percent of the country, and Brisbane, the third-largest, with 9 percent.

Australia's famous job search site, Seek, has 45000 vacancies in Sydney, 34000 in Melbourne and just 15000 in Brisbane.

So new immigrants are more likely to get a job in Sydney than anywhere else.

Of course, economic superiority will naturally lead to an increase in the cost of living, which is the same as at home. The cost of living here is mainly reflected in housing, food, shopping, transportation is not much worse.

Renting a one-bedroom apartment in downtown Sydney is $500 a month more expensive than Melbourne; if you buy an apartment, it's 5000 Australian dollars per square meter more expensive than Melbourne.

Given the number of jobs in Melbourne, moving to Melbourne is a compromise.

But maybe the first job I hit was in that extra 11000 jobs?

The third reason is climate.

As you know, Australia is located in the southern hemisphere, so the season is opposite to China. In addition, the geographical distribution of air temperature is opposite to that of the Northern Hemisphere, the lower the temperature is to the south, the higher the temperature is to the north.

As a result, Victoria, at the southern tip of the Australian continent, is colder. Melbourne has an average winter temperature of about 6 degrees and sometimes below zero.

In contrast, Queensland, which is relatively north, has a higher temperature. Brisbane summer temperatures are usually 31 degrees 33 degrees, up to 40 degrees 45 degrees.

In New South Wales, between Victoria and Queensland, temperatures are more pleasant. The average maximum temperature in Sydney in summer is about 26 degrees, and the average minimum in winter is about 8 degrees.

In fact, the temperature alone, Melbourne is not very low. However, we can look at the sunny days of the year in these cities: 126 days in Brisbane, 107 days in Sydney and 46 days in Melbourne.

In Australia, the human body's feeling of the weather is greatly affected by the sun. It sweats under the sun and feels cool in the shade. Therefore, Melbourne's 6 degrees will feel cold, Sydney's 8 degrees will make people feel very comfortable.

Friends around the Yangtze River Delta know that our winter there is very cold. So some people will say that the northern people in the Kang head warm flowers, southerners in the rain frozen dregs. Moreover, we experience plum rain every summer, the damp and sultry feeling is very uncomfortable. In three days, the temperature above 35 degrees will last for 20 or 30 days, and most people will find it impossible to live without air conditioning.

Sydney also occasionally has 40 degrees of extreme heat, but usually only a day or two to recover cool. And the heat waves will dissipate at night, not as hot as the summer nights in the south of the Yangtze River, and sometimes even woken up by freezing. So many families in Sydney don't have air conditioning.

Sydney is much more comfortable in winter, and it's never hard to feel stuck in bed. When you go out during the day, you don't need a thick coat, you're as strong as a ghost, a bunch of people are on the street, and the surf on the beach is never going to stop.

As for Melbourne's climate, it is not only cold in winter, but also known for its variety. It doesn't matter if you don't like the weather in Melbourne, some say, because the next second will change.

So I've been confused about how the world's most habitable city came out. It is said that winning Melbourne is a cultural thing, but ordinary people may be more concerned about the feeling of taking a ride to the seaside any day of the year.

Sydney or Melbourne, just look at the two beauty below, you prefer the top one or the bottom one.

Of course, if you're holding 189, maybe it's worth flirting with.
