The toy retailer, Toys R Us, is in bankruptcy, and the liquidation company has started to intervene.

A few months after the collapse of Toys'R'Us retail stores in the United States and the UK, Australian stores also began bankruptcy proceedings, the Times reported.

On Monday, a spokesman for McGrathNicol, a clearing house, said in a statement that the director of Toys'R'Us had sought the help of the clearing company.

All Toys'R'Us and Babies'R'Us stores will remain open as the clearing house seeks to sell or restructure its Australian stores.

It is reported that the world-renowned toy company has 44 retail stores in Australia, about 700 regular employees.
