Which of the three major food delivery software is strong? Deliveroo is the most punctual.

According to the Daily Mail, more and more Australians choose to order food online because of convenience and comfort.

According to consumer rights group CHOICE, 2 million Australians use food delivery software such as Deliveroo,Uber Eats, Menulog every quarter. The organization compares three companies in delivery time, customer evaluation, and food delivery compensation.

Deliveroo: delivery time number one

CHOICE tried to order a bucket of ice cream on Messina via Deliveroo, and arrived a few minutes ahead of time, and the ice cream was still cold. In addition, Deliveroo will continue to send progress through information updates.

However, customers in Sydney say it is convenient to order meals through Deliveroo, but the downside is that they usually order more food than usual and cost more than cooking.

Deliveroo couriers get A $3.50 for each order, A $1.80 for a successful delivery, and variable costs based on distance and time.

Menulog: delivery time number two

CHOICE ordered two pizzas via the app, which arrived 15 minutes later than expected, as promised.

The software constantly updates and sends messages through text messages and online tools.

CHOICE also points out that before delivery, Menulog can accept special requests from customers not to use certain ingredients.

Customers from Wolonggang (Wollongong) say they prefer to use Menulog because they can get a discount. The downside is that orders are sometimes cancelled because of the lack of drivers in the area.

Menulog's remuneration for contracted diners is mainly determined by the restaurant's delivery fee, distance and time. Menulog does not charge a commission to the courier.

Uber Eats: delivery time ranked third

CHOICE ordered a sushi through Uber Eats, which was supposed to be delivered within 15 to 20 minutes, but took 35 minutes.

Like Menulog, Uber Eats keeps updating deliveries, but it's still late.

Customers in Sydney reported that, Uber Eats drivers often rely on Google Maps and get lost.

Uber Eats couriers receive A $5.50 per order, A $3.50 per successful delivery and A $2.20 per kilometer. But Uber Eats will charge the courier a commission. If diners use bicycles, they charge 35 percent of the total fee, and if they use motorcycles, scooters or cars, they charge 30 percent.

CHOICE said all three companies had customers who reported having found food missing, but all received refunds or vouchers as compensation.

Earlier this year, a report by Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley), a financial services firm, pointed out that Australia's food delivery industry was expected to be worth A $2.4 billion by 2025.
