According to the Daily Mail, shocking videos show backyard butchers slaughtering animals brutally at a farm just an hour's drive from Sydney.

Inside a farm just an hour's drive from Sydney, sheep and goats were bought from the farm for less than market prices, using flares and digging out their hearts, it is reported.

One of the people invited to the farm was shocked by the scene. He secretly filmed the video and reported to Hurst (Emma Hurst) of the Animal Rights Party (Animal Justice Party). The expose said it was not any form of religious or ritual massacre.

He revealed that people were invited to come in and buy a sheep, which was cheaper than the store, but needed to kill the animals themselves. People don't know how to slaughter, so use a torch or dig out the heart of an animal.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Animal abuse, (RSPCA), examined the property and found that the animals had been euthanized before they were used or slaughtered.

Former locals familiar with the farm said that while the operators behind the farm were Australians, the clients were mainly immigrants.

Hurst said the photo and videos taken from the farm were shocking, suggesting the need for a government agency to investigate animal abuse. She thinks the farm should have been in operation for many years.

The Daily Mail has learned that such slaughtering has existed for at least two years.

At present, the property has been shut down by (Department of Primary Industries), the Primary Industry Agency, for violating (Food Act NSW) 's biosafety and health regulations under the New State Food Act.
