Sydney airport McDonalds are extremely high! Air kitchen burgers, fries coming down from the sky.

The new McDonalds at Sydney airport are so glistening that the glass building sparkles and hamburgers and fries are delivered from the "air kitchen" to customers via a conveyor belt.

The new restaurant features a transparent kitchen above Terminal 1, and the design firm Landini Associates is determined to create "a vivid, memorable and unprecedented customer experience."

"the McDonalds restaurant at Terminal T1 has become one of the most heavily distributed Instagram sites at Sydney Airport," said Williams (Glyn Williams), general manager. "sure, it's a theater, full of color, intelligence and surprise. People will arrive here early in order to see it. "

For Landini, this means innovation and how McDonald's continues to break through its design limitations.

Placing the kitchen above the counter is visually exciting, but also very complex. It is an even greater challenge to ensure that it is efficient, fast, and does not cause confusion in delivering meals to customers.

Landini's vision comes from Asia, where the company combines ordering technology with a transparent delivery system. "McDonald's has been looking to develop a modern and relevant customer dining experience," the project description said. "the project's electronic ordering system, kitchen and vertical transmission combine to create a unique landscape."

"We have a fairly small space, but we see a lot of space in this place," said Landini's creative director, Randini (Mark Landini). We asked Sydney Airport if they would mind us using the space, and of course they were happy, because it meant they could rent us some space that didn't exist before. "

Landini has worked with McDonald's in several flagship stores around the world for three years, including Hong Kong, Moscow, Madrid, London and Chicago headquarters. He said his design theme was "lack of theme".

He said, "We tried to design something that didn ' t require any theme, just designed a simple palette restaurant. Concrete, stainless steel and oak. We haven ' t done color graphics yet, it ' s just a signature display."

This new McDonald's restaurant is unique in Australia.

Bannister (Josh Bannister), senior development director at McDonald's Australia, said: "the space is limited, so we need to be creative when designing restaurants to give customers the best dining experience."

But he says McDonald's focus is on independent drive-ins, and that's not going to change.
