A tourist bus carrying 15 passengers collided with (Puffing Billy Railway), a steam train in Menzies Creek, Victoria, on the 6th in a car accident at (School Road), Melbourne's college road, causing the train to derail. After the accident, the, Puffing Billy Trains Company forbade tourists to stick their legs out of the car for tourists' safety.

The accident injured a 40-year-old Chinese man and was taken to Dandenong Hospital for treatment, the Ninth News reported on the 7th. In addition, many injured tourists were treated at the scene of the accident.

Investigators learned that the driver of the bus said it had found a brake failure as it drove eastward along academic Road (School Road).

In the wake of the crash, Puffing Billy Trains has imposed a temporary ban on tourists from dangling their legs outside the carriages, after being allowed to do so. It is reported that, Puffing Billy's website reads, "during the accident investigation, the ban was in effect." At present, tourists are not allowed to sit on the side of the carriage. "
