Is it really cool for the Australian retail industry to be angry at the top?

Do the friends who often go shopping feel that Myer's service quality is getting worse and worse.

With the end of the fiscal year, companies are doing the final sales sprint.

And Myer's current service problems are becoming more and more serious, so that the high-level has to come out to rectify the quality of service. After all, when the service goes up, the sales will increase.

The biggest sales promotion in major shopping malls twice a year, once in the middle of the year, was in Boxing day, where executives said they would cut prices sharply to boost consumption.

Just last month, Myer's chief executive, Richard Umbers, stepped down after his share price plunged 69% in the three years he was in charge.

No wonder Myer executives began to panic, share prices fell in this way, the entire enterprise is in crisis. Is this also hinting that Australia's retail industry is really getting worse?

A slightly cold counte

Just when I arrived in Australia, I felt that the service industry here was doing a very good job. When I went into the mall, I had a cabinet sister waiting warmly to entertain me. But the recent visit to Myer, especially to the second and third floor is not so busy area, buy a thing no one to serve!

Australia's Daily Mail recently sent reporters to "secretly interview" Myer, reporters who pretended to be customers to buy things, and waited for half a day without an employee to help. Even some employees have seen reporters, but they don't mean to go forward, because they are busy with other things. In the end, the cashier couldn't find anyone.

No staff came up to help.

Some netizens jokingly commented that if the cashier's desk in the mall is not served, is it that I don't have to pay for what I bought in the future?

Tony Sutton, a senior manager at Myer, also said that some of the employees were "I don't work for Myer", especially those on some brand teams: Dyson,Nespresso,Cue and so on. Guests will not provide services unless they ask about what is relevant to the company they work for.

Myer executives say anyone who falls short of the standard could get fired.

It seems that in order to rectify the quality of Myer service, it is really a big move.
