This drink will disappear from Australia and will not be available from next month!

Starting August 1, the Zero Coke (Coke Zero) will be phased out, although Australians are less than happy to switch to the latest sugar-free products.

Coca-Cola Australian marketing director Lucy Austen (Lucie Austin) confirmed on Thursday that "Zero Coke" will be replaced by "sugar-free cola" (Coke No Sugar), and Australians have accepted the new drink.

Although sugar-free cola was launched in Australia in June 2017, consumers are moving slowly from zero to new.

Earlier this year, Woolworths told news.com.au, that they wanted to continue selling Coke Zero, "taking into account the needs of customers."

However, it seems that the Australians finally accepted the sugar-free coke, which tastes more like the classic Coca-Cola, but does not contain sugar.

Austin said in a statement: "it's not surprising that people like it better than Coke Zero-as we've seen around the world."

Austin said sales of sugar-free cola have exceeded expectations since it went public in Australia last June.

"We can say that since the launch of the market, nearly 3.5 million Australians have bought sugar-free cola, and many of them are now regular customers," she said.

"We also see that the rapid growth in sales of sugar-free cola is helping to expand the category of low-sugar and sugar-free beverages."

Throughout August, Zero Coke will gradually withdraw from the market and will be completed in September.

Coca-Cola recently signed an industry-wide pledge to cut sugar by 20% of all its products by 2025.
