Adelaide resident Amanda Robertson, who lives in Adelaide Hills, was awakened by an unusual sound in the living room at 2 a.m.
"there was a sound of footsteps and a scratching sound. My dog, Charlie, starts barking. He doesn't usually bark very much. "
"at one point, I thought someone had entered the house. My heart is racing. "
Mrs. Robertson woke her husband, who went to the living room and turned on the lights.
"he said it was koala. I ran over. I couldn't believe it."

The koala entered the house through the back door, and the couple opened the back door to keep it cool.
