Perth's mother pulled up in her driveway and got a ticket.

A mother in Perth pulled up in her driveway and received a $60 ticket, according to 9NEWS on Aug. 8.

The mother, Courtney Luntie-Jenkins, who lives in Byford, said she had parked the Ford Ranger here for more than a year because the garage was so small that it could not be parked in the garage.

Yesterday, when she went out, she found a ticket on the windshield of the car, worth A $60, which the city council explained was a safety hazard for the car's towers.

"when I saw this ticket, I thought it was ridiculous," Courtney said.

The local council said it had told all car owners not to park in the middle of the driveway, preferably at the edge of the driveway.

Ms Courtney said she had been warned not to park her car on the side of the road.
