The McDonald's said: no consumption, no use of my bathroom.

A McDonald's in Kunzhou recently asked customers to pay to use the bathroom, a matter that sparked heated debate.

Customers enter the only code at the bottom of the McDonald's receipt to use the Sunshine Coast McDonald's bathroom, meaning people have to wait in line.

"I can only turn to other customers to get my 90-year-old grandmother to use the bathroom," complains Kim McDonald.

The official explained that the policy was implemented to "deal with syringe safety issues."

Paying for McDonald's bathrooms is unheard of in Australia. The news has been shared by thousands of netizens, with some expressing "antipathy" and others expressing support. "after all, this is not a public toilet," he said.
