Sydney's 'map of safety' comes out! Good areas and bad areas will be known at a glance, but you can also mark them on your own!

Recently, there have been frequent cases of crime in Sydney, making people afraid to walk the night on their own! Finally, a Sydney safety map is out! The magic of this map is: where is the safest and worst security in Sydney, it will let you know at a glance!

This new "security map" was designed by Australian International Program (Plan International Australia), mainly for the safety of female compatriots. Because a new study showed that 90% of women surveyed would have no sense of security at night. Even during the day, it is unsafe to take public transport or be alone in the city. Forty percent of the women surveyed said they had been harassed in the streets.

A female Roslyn Street user said she had seen a man with a knife standing in a dark place and was scared to call the police.

The just-mentioned "Free to Be" interactive map allows women to identify "dangerous areas" anonymously and document their experiences. Similarly, users can mark their favorite cities as "good".

Sydney has received hundreds of reviews since the map was launched on Tuesday. Most of the bad reviews are in CBD and downtown.

A user at Haymarket said he had been followed here by a man.

Others say a dark tunnel between two quiet streets in the inner west side of Stanmore makes her very sense of security-free because it's too dark. As expected, Blacktown also got bad reviews.

The aim of the map is to generate a map using user-provided data to inform women living in the city about the actual security situation, said CEOSusanne Legena of the Australian International Program.

Melbourne's interactive mapping tool, launched in 2016, is used by thousands of young women to share unpleasant experiences. Until May 28, this interactive map is open, you can go to annotate oh! Researchers at Monash University will then collect and analyze the data to identify Sydney's best and worst districts.

This is the only regret of this map. It's not always available!

With this security map, sense of security upupupu! Sisters hurry to download, mark your encounter and feel it!
