Tuao girl bought this from Coles, and she was shocked to see it.

A vegetarian Australian woman claims she was traumatized by a frozen chicken head that appeared to sound like a "silent scream" when she bought something from the supermarket.

Bonnie (Bonnie Aungle), 33, is a graphic designer who lives in Ocean Shores., near (Byron Bay), Byron Bay. On Sunday, she bought a pack of chicken necks for her pet Chihuahua dog from a Coles supermarket near Murwillumbah.

But later in the day, when she opened the bag of dog food, she found a whole chicken's head, and she was startled.

The single mother said she didn't want her three-year-old son Phoenix (Phoenix) to see it because he was also a vegetarian.

Coles confirmed that it was investigating the matter with suppliers.

Although she and her son never eat meat, she says she will buy her chihuahua something suitable for dogs.

"my son and I are vegetarian and never have to buy meat, but I often buy chicken neck for my chihuahua."

"I usually go to the butcher's near my house to buy loose chicken necks, but they sold out that day, and that's why I went to Coles."

"when I got home, I wanted to unpack it and feed it to my dog."

"the chicken head is at the bottom, so I didn't see it at first."

"then I saw something similar to a chicken crown. And I thought to myself, Oh, my God, isn't this a chicken's head, isn't it? "

"this is so strange. Then I saw its mouth and eyes intact. It looked like it was stuck in a cold, silent scream. "

"his mouth was open and his eyes were looking at you, which made me feel sad."

'now that the chicken head is still in her fridge, she doesn't know what to do with it, 'Ms. Ange said.

"of course I know where the meat comes from," she said. But for people who don't eat meat, it's really repulsive to put it in front of you. "

"when I saw it, I couldn't help but gasp, and my son ran over to see what was going on."

"he chose to be vegetarian, and I really didn't want him to see it. I knew it would scare him."

Despite her efforts to protect her son from fear, she was still in shock.

"the chicken head is still in the fridge," she said. "I don't know what they want me to do, and I don't know if I should take it back."

"but I know I'm not going to Coles to buy chicken necks again."

A Coles spokesman said: "Coles attaches great importance to the quality of all products. We have contacted the customer and followed up with our suppliers. "

This is the second time this week that Coles has been criticised for chicken quality. A woman in Victoria posted online pictures of chicken breasts she bought at Melbourne's Coles, showing the meat green.

In that incident, Coles clarified that green chicken was harmless to humans.
