How bad and dirty this five-star hotel is!

One of Australia's largest hotel chains, owned by luxury hotels, has been denounced by angry customers, many of whom have paid hundreds of dollars but are far more dirty and abominable than motels.

At the QT hotel in (Port Douglas), the famous Queensland resort, it costs more than $400 a night. But customers were outraged, and one of them said, "even if you pay me, I won't be here anymore."

A spokeswoman for QT's parent company said they were sorry to hear some guests express disappointment that the resort is now on sale.

The top hotel in the port of Douglas can only be described as "failure". Dozens of customers angrily claimed that the sheets were dirty, furniture was broken, rodents were on their clothes, services were virtually non-existent, showers were cold, cutlery was dirty, and there was sour food in the room.

Mold

Not all QT received bad reviews. Some customers on Booking.com praised the hotel's pool as "friendly and efficient," and one described it as a "beautiful resort."

But the comments on Trip Advisor were very different, with customers uploading moldy sun chairs, pillows covered with dirt and squashed bugs and uncleaned rooms. When it comes to food, one customer says it would be nice to have a Bunnings sausage.

Another customer said the room service took too long and that customers had even managed to order takeout from an external restaurant to their room before receiving the phone at the front desk.

"We feel like we're staying in a cheap motel," one comment wrote. "if I could give this small piece of bad reviews, I'd do it."

Listing for sale

QT, which belongs to Event Entertainment and Hospitably, made 66 million yuan in profits for the half-year ended December 31. The hotel sector contributed 3.64 million yuan, up 48% from the same period last year.

But in the port of Douglas, the profits seem to be rarely invested in the QT hotel here.

Norman, Operations Manager, event Hotel. Arundell (Norman Arundel) said the hotel is now on sale. Although QT Port Douglas has always been a favorite of the QT family, it has been listed for sale since the 2017 asset review.

"We will continue to provide a good customer experience, which is synonymous with the brand," he said.

QT Port Douglas, which opened in 2012, describes itself as a "boutique luxury hotel." It's a tropical paradise.

It has a spacious vacation house, swimming pool, garden view, bar and Moonlight Cinema.

But the comments of the past few weeks have been a blow.

One angry customer wrote, "Decoration is cheap; the lampshade is broken or crooked; the floor, the walls and the decor are littered with stains; the cupboard handles are greasy; the pillows are filthy; The batteries of the TV remote control are also corroded and can't be used; the stalls in the mini-refrigerator are out of date. "

"We feel like living in a cheap and dilapidated motel room."
