And Australian media revealed a KFC scandal: a man in northern New York ate live maggots while eating KFC fried chicken!

Martyn Bates, a 30-year-old construction worker, came to a KCF store in northern New York to buy three fried chicken legs, according to the Daily Mail, around 3pm one day earlier this month.
Bates said he immediately ate one, but put the remaining two in a convenient cooler, and then went home and put them in the fridge.
When he sat down for dinner at 9 p. M., he bit a bite of the fried chicken leg bought from KFC and suddenly felt sick, but found that there were live maggots crawling in the rest of the fried chicken leg.
When Bates found out he had eaten live maggots, he immediately ran to the toilet to retch and gargle with half a bottle of mouthwash.
"I felt so sick that I used half a bottle of mouthwash to gargle my mouth!"
He immediately uploaded the video to the Internet, and then complained with KFC and stores about the issue.
But the solution is only a $20 coupon.
And asked him to delete the video.
A KFC spokesman said: deny the maggots were produced in the store. This is supposed to be the case when the customer comes home.
The spokesman said studies showed maggots lay eggs in food only at temperatures ranging from 10 to 40 degrees Celsius.
"We put raw chicken in the freezer, well below this temperature. And we store fried chicken above this temperature, so this is unlikely to happen before we buy it.
This customer, Bates, doesn't buy KFC's explanation at all.
He maintains that he did not expose fried chicken legs to the environment of laying eggs for long periods of time, and even questioned:
"it's so serious that if I'm infected with salmonella, there's life at stake! is that the attitude of KFC?"
