Adelaide airport staff protested against poor working conditions and low salaries at the airport terminal demonstration parade, this morning!

At 8: 00 a. M., Adelaide airport workers demonstration parade, in front of the airport terminal, waving union placards that read: "Airport security operations."
They called for low pay, mandatory part-time, temporary workers and unreasonable shifts.

According to a media statement issued by the Transport Workers Federation (Transport Workers Union), airport working conditions result in high turnover rates and chronic fatigue syndrome, thus endangering airport safety and security!
They also said that Aerocare, an airline ground service company, forced employees to stay at the airport for 15 hours a day because of shifts, while they were paid only six hours a day.
Ground security is not a simple task in itself and requires constant vigilance.
