Ninety percent of Aboriginal children under the age of three in remote communities in Australia's Northern Territory are born with ear problems, which can cause major developmental problems.

According to the Daily Mail, the disease, known as otitis media, is born to aboriginal children in the Northern Territory of Australia and affects hearing in one or both ears. In addition to affecting language learning, the disease can also affect the balance of toddlers' steps, impair brain development and lead to behavioral problems, resulting in deep-rooted disadvantages.

The Australian Federal government is now working with charities to launch the "listen for Learning Program" (Hearing for Learning Initiative), which aims to address this neglected Aboriginal social crisis.

Tampo (Malcolm Turnbull) government has pledged A $3 million over the next three years, while Northern Territory government has pledged A $2.4 million, while the Barnevers Foundation (Balnaves Foundation) has pledged A $2.5 million.

Listening to the program plans to set up dozens of ear health project offices in the Northern Territory, (Ear Health Project Officers). (he Rong)
