Why is the Australian passport blue and the Chinese passport red? Do you know these little secrets?

At least two national passports have been seen in airport customs, certificate center and other places, the dark red of mainland in China, the navy blue of Australia, and the black of New Zealand. But have you ever thought about what these colors represent behind them?

One of the amazing things is that although there are no official rules on passport color selection in the world, you will find that passports are nothing more than blue, red, green or black. No one must use dark blue or light green, but you find that 90% of them are dark colors.

Because of religion? Geography? Politics?

Or is there any other reason why passport color choices are so similar?

Blue stands for youth?

Blue passports include Australia, the United States, Canada, the vast majority of African countries, Central and South America and many Pacific island countries. Hong Kong passports are also blue copies. Some people analyze that blue may be a symbol of young countries.

As you can see above, the hue is completely uncontrolled. Australia likes dark blue, Fiji likes bright blue, but you like it anyway.

Red has something to do with politics?

There are many other countries in the world that use red passports like China's mainland, from orange to rose red, but people prefer dark red, especially in Europe. I don't know why dark red seems to represent some kind of connection to the European Union. Britain's earlier announcement that it would change its original dark red passport back to blue is a symbol of Brexit. Turkey's change of black passport to crimson is also a sign of its desire to join the European Union.

Green religion is the heaviest?

Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, Nigeria and Zimbabwe are all countries that choose green passports, and the ISIS families, such as Saudi Arabia and Iran, should be more impressed. Indeed, most ISIS families use green passports, and most of their flags are in this color. Because green is considered the Prophet Muhammad's favorite color and has relationship with heaven in < Quran >.

Black represents the nation

Black passports are the least common, but New Zealand black passports should be seen a lot in Australia. Black majority is chosen because it is the representative color of the nation. Other countries have diplomatic passports specially designed to be black. Long ago, Australia also used a black passport.

Finally, there is a passport color that you have probably never seen before, that is, white. Usually white is not an ordinary passport, for example, in India, it is issued to government officials in particular.

Although colors can be matched freely, the common country has established other passport specifications that must be observed, such as 125mm X88mm in size.
