Police carried out a two-night operation on Sydney Road and found more than 100 drunk drivers, Radio 9 reported. The situation is a source of concern for the authorities as the Christmas holiday approaches.

It is reported that the police launched a special operation, a total of 150 police officers in Sydney Harbour Bridge (Harbour Bridge), M2 and M7 highway exit card inspection.

Just after the first night of inspection, road patrol Gretcher (Adrian Gretch) said six drivers had committed violations.

In addition, a man was tested for drug abuse and was driving a stolen motorcycle.

Another driver, a nurse, tried to break through the checkpoint.

A driver with a license P failed his breath test and said he had just returned from a Christmas party.

It is understood that in the two-night operation, police found 110 drivers.

Assistant Sheriff Cobo (Michael Corboy) said the figures were very worrisome. Police want to send a message to the public that the police will not accept it this year after a bad road accident during Christmas last year.
