There is a big gap in oil prices across Sydney, and the biggest difference is 40 cents.

According to the Daily Mail, drivers in some parts of the city of Sydney have been hit hardest by a surge in oil prices.

According to data from the National Road Automobile Association (National Roads and Motorists' Association), there is a wide gap in oil prices across Sydney's urban areas, but some of them are more notably high, leaving drivers unprepared.

Auburn (Auburn) is reported to cost 29 cents per litre, and drivers have to pay A $23 more for fuel compared to other parts of Sydney.

Fairfield (Fairfield) costs 28 cents per litre and drivers pay A $22 more; Granville (Granville) costs 25 cents per litre and drivers pay A $20 more.

This week, (Campbelltown) prices in the town of Campbell were even more startling, with some filling stations 40 cents higher per litre than in the rest of the world.

However, Sydney also has parts of the city, though relatively expensive, but relatively modest.

For example, Bondi costs only 3 cents per litre; Narabin (Narrabeen) costs 6 cents; Sutherland (Sutherland) costs 10 cents.

Kuli (Peter Khoury), a spokesman for the National Road Automobile Association, said the figures suggest that drivers in some urban areas need to think about it before filling.
