A man in Australia died of cancer five days after proposing to his 21-year-old girlfriend, the Daily Mail reported. My girlfriend is in great grief now.
In April, 23-year-old Michael Owens was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia 12 hours after proposing to Rosie Rechichi.
7 News reported that Owens had symptoms of colds and sore neck, and Rechichi persuaded him to see a doctor. Owens' father, Peter Owens, said his son had never had any symptoms of cancer before until he suddenly fell ill and died.

The Perth couple had no idea that Owens had less than five days left.
