Take a cruise ship from Sydney to Fiji. After the Australian man ascended the cabin, he took a Harrow and asked for a full refund when he got off the ship.

In December, Kunzhou man Brendan Ritson and his partner took a cruise ship from Sydney to Fiji. On the first day of the trip, Ritson said the room was leaking, so cruise crew helped him upgrade to another expensive room. But when he got off the boat, the man suddenly sued the cruise company for a full refund, citing the noise of other tourists snoring next door to the expensive room.

According to the Daily Mail, Brendan Ritson and his partner made an 11-day cruise to Fiji from Sydney on an 11-day cruise to the Royal Caribbean South Pacific in December 2016. On the first night after boarding, however, Ritson said his room was leaking, so staff replaced it with a more expensive exterior room with porthole.

But on the third night, Ritson said, a mother and daughter moved to a room next to them, and their snoring, quarrelling and offensive language kept the couple awake all night. After disembarking, Ritson took the cruise ship to Kunzhou Civil and Administrative court, asking for a full refund of A $3270.29, a fee that was reduced to A $2436.78 at the hearing, including only accommodation.

But cruise companies say Ritson actually didn't complain to them until the eighth night. The cruise ship offered to change their rooms again, but only to return to the same price rooms that Ritson had originally booked on board, and Ritson rejected the cruise company's solution. In the final hearing, Ritson's application for a refund was rejected by court. "your problem could have been solved by changing rooms, so your request for a refund was unreasonable."
