2. How to use HSC scores to apply to the University of Hono

Students' HSC scores are usually used to calculate the admission ranking (ATAR). Of Australian universities

ATAR is a ranking system customized according to university admissions places, and HSC candidates are free to choose whether or not to be included in the ATAR ranking.

In other words, when some students do not plan to go to college next year, they can choose not to calculate ATAR values.

Once you choose to be scored by ATAR, candidates must complete at least 10 NESA certified courses.

3. Method of calculation of HSC test scores

The result of the HSC is the final score calculated by adding the student's college assessment score and the school evaluation score to the respective 50% ratio.

Unlike in China, the assessment and inspection of students in Australian schools is not limited to examination questions, but will consider students' comprehensive ability more widely.

When studying a subject, students will be required to complete a number of test tasks, including practical activities, field visits, assignments (written oral homework) and exams, etc., and eventually the school will submit HSC scores for each examinee.

NESA uses the score to adjust and convert, and the final results can reflect the true level of each student more fairly.
