Sydney public transport unexpectedly has this big loophole, everybody can take a bus for free!

So many commuters take advantage of this loophole.

9NEWS photographed at Sydney's railway station and ferry terminal that some passengers didn't swipe their Opal cards on the card reader when they got on and off the bus.

While stations and docks near CBD, including Central,Town Hall and Circular Quay, have crosshairs to prevent ticket flight, and larger stations have crosshairs or gates, other stations have only card readers at their exits and entrances.
