Adelaide Flagstaff Hill A house burned down last night

09:30 last night, a fire engulfed a house in Flagstaff Hill, but investigators have yet to determine whether the fire was man-made.

It was reported to a neighbor of the house, firefighters and police patrols who were quickly dispatched to the property on Bellaview Rd when they received the call.

Fortunately, no one was at home at the time of the fire. Two adjacent houses were also rescued.

It took firefighters two hours to control the fire, as large quantities blocked the way in and out of the house.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and investigators will inspect the site this morning.

MFS (Metropolitan Fire Service) and CFS (Country Fire Service) stayed on the scene all night to make sure the fire didn't burn again, as some dark fires were still simmering.
