If you find crocodiles creepy, consider carefully whether to read the news.

Up to 50 dangerous crocodiles sit side by side on the banks of the (Daly River) River, known in the Northern Territory, along the Daley River.

According to Daily Mail and Radio 9, up to 50 dangerous crocodiles are basking side by side on the banks of the well-known (Daly River) River in the Northern Territory.

In the Daley River, south of Darwin, dozens of saltwater crocodiles are lounging in the sun on the banks of the river just a few metres from the river, according to a drone shot. Each crocodile is several meters apart. Some are scrambling into the river.

Crocodile management expert Britton (Adam Britton) said the crocodiles appeared collectively on the banks of the river because the river is in a low tide and its surrounding ecosystems are healthy, with plenty of food, coupled with the recent drop in temperature. The crocodiles are basking in the sun while waiting for a fish buffet. There may be more crocodiles in the river.

Crocodiles are known to use the temperature of the river to keep their temperature warm during cold nights. During the day, they sunbathe on the muddy banks of the river.

Many crocodiles belong to social animals, but saltwater crocodiles have a strong sense of territory. However, since there is plenty of food, these crocodiles have nothing to compete for unless they compete for the best sun spot.
