A young man and friend from Western Australia visited a popular tourist attraction Thursday afternoon, the Daily Mail reported. The man fell from a 40-meter-high spot while taking pictures on the edge of the cliff and was dragged into the sea by the waves, killing him.

On Thursday afternoon, a young man in his twenties and friends from Perth came to The Gap in (Albany), Albania, on Thursday afternoon. When they arrived, they dispersed, and some went to the viewing platform to take pictures. The man then left the designated route and viewing platform.

Just after 02:30, the man's friends saw him fall off the edge, hit some stones, and landed on a rock at the bottom.

An eyewitness called the police saying the man fell to the bottom of the cliff and lost consciousness. Soon after, a wave sucked the man into the sea.

Singh (Sahil Singh), the victim's friend, said he was very careful, just trying to take a picture, but slipped. They came here for the first time, not aware of the danger. They just wanted to take some pictures.

Rescuers are reported to have arrived at the scene at about 02:45 and began a search. Half an hour later, they found a man floating on the water west of The Gap. Near 4 o'clock, the man's body was recovered.

At present, the identity of the man has not been formally determined.

Wood (Dominic Wood), manager of (Great Southern) in Western Australia's Greater South region, said it was a dangerous area, but that would not happen if tourists were careful not to cross the border. It was a terrible tragedy.

It is reported that the coast near Arbany is dangerous. This is the second death accident this year. Earlier, a man was killed while fishing in (Lowlands), a lowland west of Albany, after being swept away by the waves.
